Nail Polish Review : Essie (Adore-a-ball)

Hey guys !!! Here's a little review of a nail polish by Essie in the color adore-a-ball :)

Alright so the polish is a nude color with a lot of pink in it. It could also be described as a pink.
It is really sheer so I had to apply several coats to get to the finish result. Even after 3 coats, it is still not a very opaque color. But you can still achieve a pretty decent color.

Next, I have nothing to say about the application. I love the brush and the fact that it doesn't leave a streaky finish to my manicure.

For the longevity is average.  After 2-3 days, I could see that the tips of my nails were chipped. Note that I had previously applied a base coat but NO top coat to really see how the polish would resist to my everyday life.

Over-all, great polish but there is still some progress to do. Obviously, it is a light color so I wasn't expecting it to be super opaque but for a drugstore nail polish that is more expensive than the others you can find there, I think that it is not really resistant to chipping.

Price: $$
Color opacity : 2/5 (for a light polish.)
Over-all application : 5/5

Longevity : 2/5 (I would suggest a top coat along with a base coat.)
